Gergő studies political science at Central European University. He holds both an MA from Corvinus University of Budapest in International Relations (2010) and an MA from Central European University in Political Science (2011). He was a Visiting Fellow at Annenberg Scholar for Communication at University of Pennsylvania in 2013. His research interests include quantitative methods, voting behavior, political discourse and political trust. Currently, Gergő writes his PhD dissertation on the effects of the tone of political conflicts in the news media in a cross-comparative setting.
